In a short time frame, voice control and smart speakers have already become essential in modern applications and are likely to replace buttons and keyboards in the future. Voice control has been integrated into many different devices, and MEMS technology is the key to enhance communication between people and machines. Moreover, as companies shift their employees from corporate offices to home offices, the rising demand for high-quality audio is more significant than ever.

Improvements

The technological improvements made by Acoustic Array Technologies are directed to highly integrated acoustic arrays responsive to acoustic waves. A compact circuit-board employs multiple MEMS microphones and uses on-board signal processing to actively track and focus on sound emanating from one or more locations in space. The compact physical and electrical integration of MEMS microphone arrays with signal processing electronics allows for vastly improved signal-to-noise ratio in comparison to traditional microphone solutions. 

Research & Development
